The Kerala Cricket League winners list is two seasons old and already carries two different champions. Aries Kollam Sailors chased down 214 to win the inaugural 2024 title, and Kochi Blue Tigers crushed those same Sailors by 75 runs in the 2025 final.
Both trophies were lifted at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, the league’s only home, and both finals produced a signature innings: Sachin Baby’s 105 in 2024, Vinoop Manoharan’s 30-ball 70 in 2025.
In this article, we cover the full winners list, both finals in detail, and every team’s record.
Kerala Cricket League Men’s Winners List
Two seasons, two champions, and a rivalry already forming. Kollam beat Calicut in the 2024 final, then returned to the decider a year later only to run into a rampant Kochi side. The complete honour roll of the Kerala Cricket Association’s franchise league is below.

The list gains its next entry on September 5, 2026, when the Season 3 final is played at Greenfield. Kochi will defend, Kollam will chase a second title, and four franchises are still hunting a first.
| Season | Winner | Runner-up | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2024 | Aries Kollam Sailors | Calicut Globstars | Kollam Sailors won by 6 wickets |
| 2025 | Kochi Blue Tigers | Aries Kollam Sailors | Kochi Blue Tigers won by 75 runs |
2025 Final – Aries Kollam Sailors vs Kochi Blue Tigers
| Detail | Information |
|---|---|
| Winner | Kochi Blue Tigers |
| Runner-up | Aries Kollam Sailors |
| Venue | Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram |
| Target / Result | Kochi 181/8 in 20 overs; Kollam 106 all out in 16.3 overs |
| Player of the Match | Vinoop Manoharan (Kochi Blue Tigers), 70 off 30 |
Batting first on September 7, 2025, Kochi were powered by opener Vinoop Manoharan’s blistering 70 off 30 balls, an innings decorated with nine fours and four sixes, on the way to 181/8. It was a total that demanded a fearless chase, and Kollam never came close to mounting one.

Left-arm spinner Jerin PS ripped out the middle order with 3/21 as the Sailors collapsed to 106 all out with 21 balls unused. The 75-run margin made it the most one-sided final the league has seen, and it completed Kochi’s season as table-toppers turned champions.
2024 Final – Calicut Globstars vs Aries Kollam Sailors
| Detail | Information |
|---|---|
| Winner | Aries Kollam Sailors |
| Runner-up | Calicut Globstars |
| Venue | Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram |
| Target / Result | Calicut 213/6 in 20 overs; Kollam 214/4 in 19.1 overs |
| Player of the Match | Sachin Baby (Aries Kollam Sailors), 105 off 54 |
The inaugural final on September 18, 2024 was a run-fest. Calicut stacked up 213/6 through three rapid half-centuries: Ajnas M’s 56 off 24, Rohan Kunnummal’s 51 off 26 and Akhil Scaria’s 50 off 30. On most nights that total wins a T20 final comfortably.

Sachin Baby had other ideas. The veteran left-hander smashed 105 off 54 balls, the innings that settled the chase, as Kollam reached 214/4 with five balls to spare. His hundred remains the only century scored in a KCL final.
Kochi Blue Tigers
Kochi’s 2025 triumph was built on sustained dominance. Saly Samson’s side won eight of their ten league games, with Sanju Samson, signed for a league-record Rs 26.8 lakh, turning out in the group stage. A late-August wobble, back-to-back losses to Thrissur and Calicut, was answered with five straight wins through to the title.

The knockouts showed their nerve: a tight 15-run semi-final win over Calicut, then the 75-run demolition of Kollam in the final. They enter Season 3 with their captain retained, their title-winning core rebought at the auction, and the target on their backs.
Aries Kollam Sailors
The Sailors are the league’s original champions and its most consistent side, with a title in 2024 and a runner-up finish in 2025, the only franchise to reach both finals. Their 2024 crown was won the hard way, chasing 214 against a Calicut side that had produced three fifties.

Their 2025 defence had a streaky league stage at 5-5, followed by a ruthless 10-wicket semi-final rout of Thrissur, before Kochi ended the repeat bid. Backed by the Aries Group, they head into 2026 with a settled retained core and a score to settle.
Kerala Cricket League Winners by Team
The individual honours are spread across the map: Calicut’s Akhil Scaria was named Player of the Tournament in 2025 and has won the Purple Cap as leading wicket-taker in both seasons, taking 25 wickets in 11 matches last year, while Trivandrum’s Krishna Prasad topped the 2025 run charts. The trophies themselves belong to just two teams.
| Team | Titles | Runner-up Finishes |
|---|---|---|
| Aries Kollam Sailors | 1 | 1 |
| Kochi Blue Tigers | 1 | 0 |
| Calicut Globstars | 0 | 1 |
| Finesse Thrissur Titans | 0 | 0 |
| Adani Trivandrum Royals | 0 | 0 |
| Alleppey Ripples | 0 | 0 |
Conclusion: Kochi and Kollam Share the KCL Honour Roll
The Kerala Cricket League winners list reads two seasons, two champions: Aries Kollam Sailors in 2024, Kochi Blue Tigers in 2025, with each final won in completely opposite fashion.
One title was claimed with the bat, Sachin Baby’s 105 hauling down 214. The other was won with all-round suffocation, Kochi posting 181 and then bowling Kollam out for 106.
Season 3 runs from August 20 to September 5, 2026 at Greenfield, where Kochi defend, Kollam seek redemption, and four franchises try to force their way onto this list for the first time.
